The Product

What Is MagneticTape®?

MagneticTape® is an elastic adhesive bandage with magnetic particle properties — 5m × 5cm with 50–60% longitudinal elongation — designed to facilitate local and systemic modulation by interacting with the electromagnetic fields of the human body.

It acts on cutaneous receptors, which in turn act on cutaneous nerves, enabling neural stimulation. Unlike standard kinesiology tape, MagneticTape® goes beyond mechanical support to deliver continuous neuromodulation — 24 hours a day.

Mechanism of Action

Skin-Induced
Magnetic Field

The epidermis derives embryologically from the ectoderm — the same origin as the central nervous system. MagneticTape® acts on these autonomic and sensory nerve fibers, supported by published scientific research.

Skin cross-section showing magnetic field interaction with epidermal nerve fibers

Magnetic field interaction with epidermal nerve fibers

01

Epidermal Stimulation

MagneticTape® stimulates epidermal cells, activating cutaneous nerve endings and inducing changes in action potential.

02

Neural Modulation

Altered action potentials change how nerve signals travel — reducing aberrant reflexes and abnormal muscle tone.

03

ANS Balance

Modulating autonomic nerve fibers restores Autonomic Nervous System balance — reducing stress and improving regulation.

Medical Effects

MagneticTape® addresses the root causes of musculoskeletal dysfunction — not just symptoms — with immediate, measurable results.

01

Joint Range of Motion

Provides a considerable, significant, and immediate improvement in joint ROM — useful across prevention, treatment, recovery, and performance.

02

Pain Reduction

Reduces or eliminates perceived pain immediately. Also modulates dermal temperature, with sustained improvements up to 12 hours.

SNM® Protocol

The Treatment Sequence

A general treatment process applicable to all types of musculoskeletal disorders — based on the Embryological Hierarchy of the SNM® system.

1

Examine the Affected Area

Identify and assess the specific area of pain or dysfunction to determine its origin.

2

Apply the Tape

Place MagneticTape® over the defined area without tension, following SNM® placement guidelines.

3

Re-Test

Evaluate whether symptoms have decreased. If relief is achieved, conclude treatment for this application.

4

Follow the Hierarchy

If symptoms persist, follow the Embryological Hierarchy Ladder to detect and address other underlying causes.

Key Principle: Address dysfunctional findings first — do not treat the patient's symptoms directly at the outset. This is the foundation of the clinical "magic" of Superficial Neuromodulation®.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have Questions?

MagneticTape® is suitable for athletes with sprains or tendinitis seeking faster recovery, people with chronic pain (arthritis, fibromyalgia), and patients in post-surgical rehabilitation — particularly orthopedic surgery recoveries.

No. MagneticTape® therapy is generally painless. Most patients report relief and comfort during and after treatment. Experiences may vary based on individual sensitivity.

Sessions vary based on condition severity, individual response, and therapy goals. Most patients experience immediate relief from the first application. Chronic conditions may benefit from ongoing use.

Generally safe and well-tolerated. Some may experience minor skin irritation — a patch test is recommended. Not for use with pacemakers, implanted electronics, open wounds, or during pregnancy (abdomen).

Certification & Training

SNM® Training

To perform Superficial Neuromodulation® correctly, users must read and understand the Instructions for Use, Precautions, and Warnings — and receive proper training before placement.

The correct application follows the Embryological Hierarchy — first eliminating aberrant myotatic reflexes from the CNS, then identifying the origin of each peripheral dysfunction.

Always test first to confirm no aberrant reflexes or tone abnormalities exist before treating dysfunctions or pain.

SNM® System

Superficial Neuromodulation® helps identify ideal application sites using the Embryological Hierarchy — modulating nerve signals to restore central neurophysiological balance.
